Christmas Crisis at The Capitol Theatre

Step into the festive magic with Christmas Crisis at The Capitol, a high-energy, interactive holiday production broadcasting "live" from the stage of Port Alberni’s historic Capitol Theatre! When the theatre's vital Cheer Meter plummets to zero percent, the cast realizes that the backup power grid for Santa’s North Pole Toy Shop has failed—and only the audience's holiday spirit can get the toy-making machines running again. Alongside the theatrical radio host DJ Twinkle, Chief Cheer Engineer Barnaby, Sparkle, a hilarious Grandma Huffy, and Frosty the Snowman, theatergoers of all ages will be swept up in a mission to save Christmas. Packed with laugh-out-loud moments, local Alberni Valley humor, and a playlist of eleven beloved holiday sing-alongs—including "Jingle Bells," "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," and "Silent Night"—this joyful, fun for the entire family show invites you to clap, sing, and light up the room to help power the magic of the season.
